Hello everybody,
Was simply wondering what amplifier I should get for my studio monitors. I do not have powered speakers nor do I want to buy them. Not sure on the specs on my 2 monitors but I'm surely going to need an amplifier w/ 2 outputs that would bridge out in mono to each speaker. This setup is strictly going to be for my home studio. They are Pulsar monitors and were given to me by a DJ.
so i am trying to figure out what i need for the following.
so i'm building a band with that will eventually be 7+ people.
all the bass/guitars are going direct to pa, or mixer, you know, no amps with acoustic drums and horns
so i need a lot of inputs on this mixer/audio interface.
Although there are many tools now available for various platforms the fact is that home studios lack these important aspects that make them completely unsuitable for mastering:
hey guys, I'm about to start build a new home studio, and I'm willing to get a very professional "high-end " equipments to help me achieve a professional all around commercial material at the end.
Hey guys. I'm looking for some pointers on how you process your vocals. Sometimes I have real trouble getting mine to sit in a mix and sometimes I even find they sound quite thin at the source which is obviously something I really need to take care of.
SO!
I would like to know from you pro types.
What kind of signal level do you use for vocal input ?
Hey,
What's on your 2012 gear wish list?
Are you planning and/or building up your studio? What do you need and why?
There's been a great deal of discussion and disgust over the pricing of Pro Tools upgrades. This goes hand in hand with Software Piracy. A lot of people complain that Software is too expensive. Many justify their piracy on the fact that most software is overpriced. Just looking over Reaper again and thought that this is worth posting:
I am wondering how common this is?
I recently got a hold of a Tascam DM24 on the cheap, and we are using it as a midi controller w/ Nuendo 4.
I'm tired of doing fader and panning automation w/ a mouse - in general, tired of using a mouse unless absolutely necessary.
For me, it's about a better workflow more than anything.
Hello,
I am thinking about building one of these:
