I've searched the Forum and can't find anything about this specific topic...there might be info I missed about the follow-up questions. Sorry if this is a double post.

We have an old (relatively) Tascam CD-RW 700 we've used in the past as a mixdown deck. We really like it. However...Tascam has put out a few newer models since we bought the 700.

The main question is:

Hey, I have a Tascam CD-RW 700 ( like the title says) and I can not find the link to the manual anymore on the Tascam website. Any ideas on where to find the manual online? Thanks in advance .

anyone have this unit or have any opinions on it? i've scoured the internet and have been unable to find a review anywhere!

This question is actually something that is concerning my boyfriend, Chad. He's computer illiterate so I'm doing the asking for him :lol:

He owns a Tascam DP-01 FX/CD

He has no problem recording onto CD-R's, but when he tries to record onto a CD-RW, the recorder tells him to insert a blank disc.

Hello, I'm trying to use my CD-RW's for my songs so that I can listen to them on other systems but when I try to record the songs to the already used CD-RW which was used for movies in the past it constantly tells to that it needs to be erased. I erase it and try to record again then asks again to erase.

It is because I used it for movies and now I can only use it for movies?

Hi, first of all, sorry if this question's been answered before, but i tryed the search Engine and couldn't find anything related to my "newbie" question :D
i'm new to all of this Recording thing, i'm a Singer guitarist, and i'll be taking some classes in audio Production this summer because next year i'll be starting a Master Degree in Audio Production at Barcelona.

Is there a difference in quality when using a silver CD as opposed to different colored ones when burning music from pro tools? With the colored or dyed ones they don't seem to play on certain players especially the car CD. I want to find the best that's out there. Thanks for listening. You guys always seem to know the answer. :?:

The CD burner in my Mac G4 733mhz has died.

Any suggestions for a replacement?

I upgraded my version of Nero to the latest version- 5.5.10.28. I'm using a USB HP 8200e burner. Had no problems ever with recognition of this device. Now, it won't even list it in Nero as an option.
Anyone with similar or a solution?

I have Nero Express. It was bundled with my TDK CD-RW machine.

I use it to back up big projects as Data (not Audio) to CD. Using CD-RW discs

The files are small enough to fit 2-3 generations of the project.
