Creating a choir with multiple vocal tracks
I have reasonable luck creating a choir with my own voice on multiple vocal tracks with a little help from Voice Live by TC Helicon's octave doubler to crank up my voice up or down an octave in some parts.
I've been experimenting with changing the eq, adding vibrato, changing the pitch a couple of cents, and adding chorus and flanging effects to give each voice some variation.

Anyone else recording a choir for a Rosanne Cash project?
Last night I recorded the Indianapolis Children's Choir for track titled "How Many Christmases" sung by Rosanne Cash on some upcoming project. From what I understand, they are collecting tracks from choirs all over the world to mix into this track, so my track will be a drop in the bucket, rather literally.
Unobstrusive Choir Mic Stands?
Hello,
More and more I feel the need for close Micing Choirs with four microphones across the front. For this purpose, I am looking for an unobstrusive microphone stand. This will be mostly for concert situations, so it has to look neat and can not be too bulky.

Choir with MK21
Hello,
here is another choir sample, this time recorded with 2 MK21's @ 90degrees and 34cm spaced. Any comments are valued a lot!
The choir is singing an old, japanese folk song about a Thousand Winds.

Help me record a kids rock ensemble and choir
Hello.
I need guidance to record my pupils rock ensemble correctly.
Did you ever hear 'The Langley School Music Project'?:

We want to do a recording in the same spirit (a nice, listenable lofi recording of kids banging out rock songs).
Choir with MKH8040 ORTF
Hello,
wonder if you could give some feedback on the below Choir recording. This was done during a rehearsal yesterday in a midsized stone church (Reverb around 2.5 sec) with a pair of MKH8040's in ORTF
The concert is on Sunday so hopefully with your input, I can improve on the sound some more!

Recording classical choir..
I am going to record a classical choir and I need some advise
The location is a medium sized (old) church. Carpet on the floors and walls of wood. The ceiling high is aprox 10-12 meters. The natural reverberation of the church is pretty good. (Not the 5 second reverbs u get in big stonechurches but not completely dead either, something in between)

Recording a small choir in a big hall
I have a gig (almost) booked to record a good, but smallish choir in a large concert hall. It will be 25-30 adult voices - SABT. This will be my first recording in a "big-boy" venue. It is a closed session, so the hall will be essentially empty.
