Micing a Choir

I was recently approached by a church choir that would like to record a few songs on location. I have essentially three room choices: The first being a massive octagon shaped room with incredibly high ceilings (carpeted floors). The second is a smaller room with about a 20 ft. ceiling (carpeted floors).

40 pice choir

How would you it?

I'm thinking about uing my two Tlm 103 in an Ortf xy at around the directors place and risen above him/her. perhaps add 2 side mics like 2 elation km201 condensers.I will use a Millennia quad preamp and a Tascam hr78 recorder.

Does anyone have any favorite setups when it comes to choirs? like A-B or M/S, decca trees?

Best regards / Toby

Choir Recording

I'm going to be recording a small choir (15-20 people) in the next few days, and they're going to be singing with a backing track. I'd like any advice on monitoring for them, and Micing the choir in a small room of about 15' x 20'.
