So I'm towards the end of tracking my first pro tools LE session with my band. We're up to 27 tracks with just a few backup vocals ahead. Up until now everything has been fine but yesterday when I fired up the session I started hearing these clicks and pops at random times while the session is open.

I am using a powermac G5 / digi002 and I am having a problem hooking up the digimax lt with the 002. I have had the unit for a few months but didn't need it until now. The digimax hooks up via lightpipe...when I arm the track in Pro Tools and select the digimax inputs the line clicks/clips - even when I don't have a mic/instrument hooked into the input.

Hy, I have Tascam dm-24 digital console attached to an mx 2424 Tascam recorder and controled via ethernet by mx-view.
Lately I have some problems while recording a track, a click is leaking through and it flash the led light right up to the peak on the dm24 and allso on the mx2424.
How can I stop it?

Ok here's the deal. Everytime I record guitar into soundforge 7, I get a clicking noise. I just recorded some vocals and everything was fine, no click. I am Micing my amp with a Shure sm57, which does not touch the grill. I have tried different patch cables, made sure there is no clipping what so ever, and also tried a different mic, the EV ND257B.

Here is a sample of clicks and pops that have been constantly plaguing me with my new setup. They attach to any sound that has a higher amplitude. I'm using Cubase SX, a brand new Mackie 1620 Onyx Board with the Firewire Option. What should I do?

hello I'm new here can anyone help plzzzzzzzz i have a Samplitude version 8 but i am getting a lot of clicking on my tracks can someone tell me why & how do i get rid of them i would be very grateful.i am recording a track of myself singing.it is very annoying when u have finished the recording then u here clicking noises that spoil it plz help tyvm x ollie

I have edit a trum track to allow only the drum hit to come through. similar to gating but more natural sounding. I am getting these clicks where I cut the tracks.

A slight fade in and out on each edit seems to fix the problem. but Man that takes a long time.

Is there anyway to do this automatically in cubase? Or has some one discovered a better way to chop up the files?

I have owned my O2R for 2 years and never heard this "popping/clicking" noise. (24 tracks/3 ADAT cards/new cords)

i'm trying to do some mixing.. i get up to 12-15 effects between 20-24 channels and Cubase sx (2.xx) starts to crap out. the audio starts to pop and click and i can't continue mixing because it becomes so bad.

i know i'm running out of resources, but i have a p4 2.4ghz 1GB ram, 2 hard drives, both get defragged at the end of the night..
