I have recently purchased an interface. It has two inputs. I have used both a keyboard and a guitar. For some reason when i listen to the recording, I hear clicks that sound almost like cell phone interference in some parts. It is not too loud but it is definantly noticeable. What could be causing this?
Could it be a faulty 1/4 cable?
Is there a tool to fix it?

I keep getting clicks and pops in a lot of what I'm recording. I'm using a firepod with a macbook into adobe audition. I've tried reinstalling the drivers. any ideas?

Im a keyboard player and singer and all I want to do is produce my own work at home. I’ve been using mini-disks for the past few years and now I really need some help and advice…

I'm using Pro Tools LE and generally it works well, but a weird problem is the clicktracks. Sometimes they work OK but often they go completey haywire - being completely uneven.
Very frustrating!
Any suggestions?

Hey guys, been a while since iv been on here. Iv been doing a bit more recording since last on and they were mostly metal bands. The problem iv been having most was on the kick drum, I cant get that slapping click like on most metal drums like from bands like fear factory, strapping young lad, shadows fall etc...

What do you guys think is the fastest and / or easiest way of making click tracks?

I'm looking for a click track to integrate into ntrack
But i'm at a loss as to which one
Ntrack has a built in one, but I want one that has more life to it
Something that my drummer will enjoy more than beeps or sticks clicking
Or would I have to make a sequencer?

I own an AT8040 condenser mic and have recently encountered a problem with clicks at 1-3 hz (approx), which are intermittent, but quite annoying. To isolate the problem, I kept the same signal chain and just swapped out different mics, which confirmed that source as the AT4040.

I've just recently got the inspire 1394 firewire i/o. and when i record something on it, theres a lot of clicks or pops, not sure which it really is, but it just doesn't sound smooth. If anyone has any ideas of how i can fix this let me know. Thanks
