I need help here! I have a RODE NTG-2, which I absolutely love due to its sensitivity. However, this sensitivity extends so much that wind is a big issue with this mic. I have the basic windscreen, and a Rycote softie (which functions quite effeciently in mid-breezes)...but I need to record in heavy winds.

I do not have a "real" studio.
My mic stands transmit(To my mics) vibration from other rooms, down the street, maybe the next town, I don't know? I remembered, from my astronomy research, something that is used for such vibration dampening on amateur telescope tripods.
