Delta 1010 Hummer

My three-year-old Delta 1010 seems to have developed a problem. A few months ago I noticed that when I first power up I hear a hum coming from the card ... at least I'm pretty sure it's the card and not the breakout box. And the hum is LOUD ... I have to kill the volume on the amp until it passes. It used to take two minutes to fade away ... now it's taking 25 minutes.

Sonar inputs, Delta drivers - a Q for you guys

Hi threre,
It's not exactly a computing question but I post it here anyway since you guys seem to be quite competent and ready to help.

I have an ANUS PC and 2 cards – Audiophile 2496 and SBLive connected via SPDIF (I keep it for soundfont playback). The SBLive audio driver is not activated. I use Sonar 2.0 under win2k and the whole setup runs just fine.

MAudio Delta66+Omni I/O or Aardvark direct pro 24/96

So these are the two options in my price range I have been investigating. I was hoping for some seasoned DAW advice before I made any purchases. A little background as to what finds me at this juncture: I am getting into production for local advertisements,(radio mostly)and need to get vocals into logic platinum over some midi sequences.

M-Audio Delta 1010

Hi folks.
Does anyone use an M-audio Delta 1010 interface ? How does it sound? Did you compare it with other interfaces? I am planning to upgrade to 24/96 and I need to choose between the 1296, the 896, the RME
and the Delta 1010. Please give me some feedback! What do you think? Whichone sounds best in your opinion?

Delta 1010

Does anyone use this? Im running it with Sonar and I'm cant realtime monitor unless i put the HW 1/2 OUT patchbay/router on moniter which doesnt make any sense to me. It makes the dry signal come out one place and the FX out another. If anyone can help it would be appreciated. thanx

delta soundcards?

was in guitar center today. drooling
they had delta 44, 1010, 410. the 44 comes with a breakout box with mic preamp's (not going to Micing much) for 400 clams.
just wondering if anyone likes, heard, or knows much about them. i think 400 is my limit for a soundcard (not much but workable).
or is there something else to look at?
