delta, help!

I've heard that if I get a Delta 44 card, I won't be able to listen to CDs or run other programs with sound, since its only use is for recording music.
is that so? does anyone know of a card in the same price range ($200/230) which could be better than that one?

DELTA 1010's - Anybody successfully using 2 or 3 together?

Hello digital hardware people. .I have 3 MAudio Delta 1010 A/D/A's (24 channels total of analog I/O) and I'm having a problem getting them to play nice together. I'm thinking this is a clocking issue. The 1st box is running on it's internal xtal and the other 2 boxes are SUPPOSED to be slaves. .using the master clock of the 1st box through SPDIF connections.

Latency Problems on adjacent channels of Delta 1010LT

I switched the two XLR inputs on my 1010LT to line levels and have them connected to a sub mixer for my drum toms and overhead mikes. The snare and bass are connected to two of the regular RCA analog inputs through a separate mixer. Now when I record I'm experiencing latency between the snare & bass inputs and the sub mixer inputs.

Delta Omni Studio on the way. Old card outtathere'?

I am awaiting a Delta Omni studio for my Windows XP system. I presently have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard that came with my puter. For now, I would like to maintain this puter as a combo PC/DAW. I would like to keep it this way for the time being. Am I looking for trouble here? Conflicts, etc? I have heard of BIOS files, IRQ'S, but that's about it. Scary new ground there.
