Hi guys, Im getting no output when connecting HD core card to digi 192 to control 24.
Digi link from core card to "primary port" on 192.
Analogue output from 192 to "pro tools sources in" on control 24.
Control room output to speakers via ch.1 & 2.

Iv set pro tools ins & outs to A1 & A2. Meter bridges are showing signal but no sound.

I'm planning on upgrading from PT24 mix to PT192 HD next year. In the mean time, I will be using Sonar for some apps.

Could I use the 192 HD I/O as the interface for Sonar in the mean time?

I cannot afford to get Pro Tools HD, I need at least 24 analog out in order to mix outside the box on analog mixer and using outboard gear

so my question is, is MOTU HD as good or nearly as good as PTHD? or at least is it way better thatn using a Digi002?

Has anyone here used a 192 box as a converter without connection to a computer. Can it do this and pipe audio out the digital connectors to elsewhere?

I'm wandering if there is a sonic difference between the 192 converters and 96 converters at 48 and 96?

Hey, how do you connect preamps to 192 I/O's. I was looking at them online and they dont seem to have (analog/digital version) XLR or 1/4" outputs. Im thinking about buying a Pro Tools HD system but I'd like to know how I would set it up first. Thanks.

Are the converters of the ApogeeRosetta 800 like or better then the digi design HD96 or 192 ?

With the new X-Firewir card we can use the Rosetta 800 as a sound card or interface for the PC.
