question...midi data generated by a drum module and triggers

hey everyone,
I'm new to Cubase and midi and trying to learn...

Heres the problem. I set a DM5 module up so that it records the midi data
into cubase.. Now i want to get better sounds than the gs wavetable thing has.

So do i need a vst plugin for drums for this? If so, can anyone recommend something good for metal/death metal drum sounds.

Triggering in Redrum

Hey ro'ers, I need some help. Does anyone know how I can set up my drum machine to trigger drums on reason? I have a Boss DR. 880 and I have it synced to Reason to where it controls playback, but I need some guidance in trying to get the DM (drum machine) to act as a triggering device. Is there anything that I would need to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Recording Drums with an Mbox and/or Drum Triggering

is it possible to record drums with an mbox? i know that some sort of external i/o device would be required to have enough inputs for all the drums mics, since the mbox only has two, but is there a device that does this?

if this wouldnt work, is drum triggering an alternative? what equipment would i need to purchase to make this happen?

drum trigger recording

I was wanting to know about recording drum triggers. Our drummer uses them live and wants to use them for recording,he uses an Alesis DM5 unit triggered by Roland acoustic drum triggers. My problem is i dont kno what to record?Should i record the MIDI or the audio coming off the DM5.I am told that if i use the MIDI i can replace the little parts like triplets that sometimes dont trigger correctly

drum triggers

Do most rock/emo/pop punk albums use triggers as well as Micing the acoustic kit? I've been wondering this for a while, because I read about the production of the new Gatsby's American Dream CD, and on their last EP they said they didn't use triggers and the drum sound was disappointing, but on the new CD they did and it sounds great (they used triggers on their previous full length as well).
