Last year I was working with BM6A and after love affair on the first bite I find myself a bit tired of hype and modern aggression from active systems. Now I'm going back to old fashion passive.

Does anyone have experience with trapezoidal Dynaudio M1 passive nearfield monitors?

Looking for opinions here. Same price point range. One any better
in translation than the other? Which would you steer towards and why? Thanks

Ok- been searching for bryston or hafler amps to buy used but I've had absolutely no luck...

has anyone tried this 2x250 at 4ohm reference amp? Would anyone be able to rate it out of 10

I'm more concerned about it giving me vERY good results, until I buy a better mixing board and a bryston (in a year or so). Perhaps not this amp...

They came in on Monday, I left them running all day and night playing music to break them in (per the manual). Tuesday I only listened to CD's on them, to get a feel for them, Tuesday night I pulled up an old mix in PT, deleted all the inserts and started (fairly) fresh on it.

I love these things.

Hi, I plan to purchase a stereo pair of Dynaudio bm15a without sub extension. Are they really appropriate for nearfield mixing?

Well, the topic says most of it... If so, how do you "feel" these compare to, say, Events 2020bas (almost same price tag), or the SP6's? Ihave a small room, but taken cared of acoustically, and presently no monitors whatsoever. I'd like to buy something that can last me to when I migrate to a bigger place - a good investment, I would say.
