is there anybody who has any idea about echo gina 3g's converters? i'm going 2 buy new sound card & at the moment i have to choice between EMU 1820M or echo GINA 3g
i need info about Gina's converters

Hi!

I was looking for some soundcards in the last few days, and it's hard for me to make a choice.

I was checking the Gina 3G, WamiRack 192L, EMU 1820M... (cards around that budget) but I always hear so different opinions about them. For example, some people say 1820M is a great card, but other people say it's crap.

Please help me...I've bought this card after reading a lot about pci based cards and something isn't right. It just doesn't record well. My old card was a Audigy Platinum EX 2. I am using the same mic, the same cables, and I've tested them all at a friends house to see if they still work fine and they do.

I'm thinking of buying one of those cards, their both at the same price, i also wanted to know if the Omni Studio by M Audio is supporting AMD cause ima switch to that soon.

Upgraded to this motherboard with my old, reliable GINA card, however, the system keeps hanging while playing an audio file, sometimes starts playing garbage(static).

I'm with to computers here at home... my computer have a SB Live and the other one have a Gina...

i plugged the SPDIFs of both cards and they are working ( i can record in sound forge from S/PDIF in both computers )
