Good Audio equipment ?
I was considering purchasing the NRG SA-568 Dual-Mode Shotgun Microphone or the Sennheiser MKE 300 Super-Cardioid Shotgun Condenser Microphone Camera Mountable
Are they both of good quality for the 150 to 200 dollar price range?

elements that can make audio dangerous to consumer equipment
Style and "quality" aside, what are the various elements that can make audio dangerous to consumer equipment.
For instance, how much bass is too much, can really high treble thrash speakers, what types of Wavesforms can trash equipment, etc.

Second-hand Pro Equipment? Monitors!
As you know I am looking for some active nearfeils in the GBP£1,600 price range.
Then I thought what if I got second-hand? I could get some truly GREAT ones!
But where to buy from? I searched Google and I couldn't find a lot. Are there any good places to buy high-end second-hand studio stuff? I can't find any! Only new equipment!

Equipment Help
Hi, I'm using a M-Audio Omni Studio interface ( Delta 66 SoundCard) to a PC. I have a AKG c1000 for my vocals and I'm using the mic preamps that are built in the omni studio. This doesn't sound too bad but I want to get better vocals. I do Hip Hop. I was thinking about getting a AT 4040 or an SP T3 and an FMR Audio RNP8380 mic preamp. First question: Are these good?

Vocal Equipment for Live/Studio use. Need Suggestions!
I am a singer/producer/musician with A PT home studio. My band has almost finished an album and we are preparing to play it live. I am extremely uptight about vocal sound quality and I am looking for some suggestions for vocal equipment for live use. Of course, I will also use this equipment in the studio.
voice-over studio equipment
Hi All,
Can somebody please advise what could be the a recommended low/medium-budget setup in order to do excellent voice-over recordings for promos, commercials, spots, jingles.
Please include all the hardware (mic, pre-amp, compressor, EQ, mixer, etc ., - excluding the PC) and software components required.

How much equipment per circuit breaker
I've been wondering how close I'm getting to tripping a circuit breaker. Do most of you run your equipment on one circuit, or are you upgrading to a 20 amp? Or . . . are you using more than one circuit?
How do you calculate when its time to look for more power?
