I have just started evaluating Joemeek classic compressor, model SC2, plugin version for PT TDM systems, 5.x.x.

I have just finished some bass guitar recording sessions and I have been quite satisfied with this emulation. I wasable to achieve better resuts than with my old good 166(A) dbx units.

Reading over my recent posts I could see how someone might think I was anti plugins That is not true. I have gotten great pleasure out of using DiNR, Fairchild 660, Joe Meequalizer, Speed, etc. I just have a healthy skepticism towards plugins Hey, you wouldn't want me to be a gullible parroter of ad copy would you? Doc.

Haven't talked to anyone who's actually tried one of these $5000 beasts. Saw them at AES and it looked interesting. Anyone comments?
