Apple GarageBand compatibility...

Hello all! I am in the market for a computer to record with. Thus far, my best option for my price range is a 17" iMac with 2 gb RAM and the intel 2ghz duo core 2 processor. My question is if anyone knows where i can find info on what kinds of interfaces will record directly into GarageBand and allow multitrack manipulation.

How do i hear my playback in garage band

Hey everyone. I know i know. Still just garage band one. But ijust had a few questions. 1. How do i hear my playback in garage band through my KRK monitors if i have them hooked throuugh my DAW, a digi002 with Pro Tools. 2. How can i have seperate drums tracks if I'm using a software instrument such as the ones included with the garageband or my drums from hell superior. 3.

is there a PC equiv to Macs garage band?

i would like something like this just go get my ideas down on my lap top. so i dont have to mic up the amps and do it all that way.
i know someone who uses garage band for the same thing. and bc it has all the amp sims on there and such it dosnt sound bad. is there something as simple as this for pc?

whats the hell... i still dont like garage band.

so for a long time ive been asking for a midi controller for my daw, that will do only the most basic of transport controls preferably for under $200 and it must have a jog wheel. first slap in the face to this hope of mine was the bheringer controls that did every thing BUT what i want. and now this.
