Nubee To midi and synths needs guidence
I am new to all this stuff but I would like to include midi and synth setups in my home studio so that I can learn and then earn. Any ideas as to what type of setup I should get that won't clean me out but will carry me for a reasonable time would be terrific..
Thanks in advance

A beginners guide to multiband compression
Hi all,
About the only black box I don't have much of a handle on is multiband dynamics processing.
Everything else, I know what I'm looking for, and can pretty confidently dial in the sound I hear in my head. Can anyone recommend a source to help me learn how to get the most out of this process?
Thanks!
Jonathan

SEX and DAW's - A Users Guide
Hi Folks. This post has come from some musings arising from another post of mine. I thought the more warped and twisted of you might find this amusing - even revealing. (OK those of you that believe you're not warped and twisted put up your hands. Right you can go and stand with the rest of your minority group in the kitchen!).

Small Steps - A Beginner's Guide To Pro Recording.
Hopefully, this will be a place where you can put some professional recording techniques into your own studio setup, whether it's in your bedroom, the basement, or your garage. It's gonna be about getting good sound for cheap, tricks you can use to improve your sound, and how to get more out of the equipment you already have.
The Guide to MIDI Orchestration by Paul Gilreath
Does anyone have any experience with this book? By its description it appears to contain many techniques for getting more realistic results when attempting to simulate a full orchestra with MIDI instruments.
Thanks,
Stuart
