Hi - this is kind of off-topic, but I know you guys really know ur stuff and I can't think of a better place to ask.

I have a PC with ASUS P4P800 Deluxe mainboard and VIA OHCI-conformable IEEE 1394-hostcontroller. WinXP with ServicePack2.

I tried to install the driverpackage as shown in the manual. But neither the drivers from CD (V 3.1) nor the latest drivers from the MOTU website works!

I'm a newbie in the game and I just wonder how do I install more vst instuments to nuendo?

A friend of mine have all these cool instuments and I want to install them onto my computer.
We use nuendo at school, but we haven't learned to install new instruments (propably because they're afraid of viruses etc).

Anyone know how to do it? :)

It's about configuring your whole system, from the ground up to minimize the effect of noise and artifacts on your audio signal, but it goes all the way to configuring your cable runs to your preamps characteristics, etc...

I feel like a dork, but...

Given the short warranty of today's hard drives, I decided to switch my Dell P500 to a pair of 120Gb drives, one as the working drive, the other ghosted, so that when one of them fails, I'll have a functioning driveimage.

After a few glitches I got 98se installed on the new drive, and *everything* -- 40Gb of stuff -- loaded on it.

Putting together my new box tonight :D

I have heard Opus talk about a specific order to install memory chips. I have 2 128 MB chips and 1 256 MB Chip (all PC 133). Which sticks should go closest to the CPU...smallest or biggest?
