You know the ones you connect the head of an amp to the cab? I'm in the market for a new pair. I thought they were different, but the guy I bought it from said they were interchangeable. However, I remember talking to some guys at GC that sang a different tune. Then again. salesman.

I have a audiobox usb, and your not supposed to hook up an active instrument into the front instrument input, but a "line" input, but, i have a Boss multi effects pedal for my guitar, and sense it has an onboard preamp, i cant plug it into the from connections as is.. or, can i? just wondering what i need to do :)

I've got MIDI drum loop that I would like to use as a guide track. I am looking for virtual instrument that will be able to play it. I am not interested in resource hungry samplers with huge libraries, 'cause I need it as a guide only. Windows Media Player plays midi file using GM module in the soundcard. I just want to do the same but through VST or RTAS instrument. Please advice!

I am trying to make a synth melody, but each time I press a key the tone comes in too loud, although the sustained tone afterwards sounds okay. How do I decrease the initial "attack" sound so that I get a smooth tone even from the beginning?

I have Old German Baby Grand Piano(in good condition).
Bass player with 3/4 size double bass(standard)
Drummer with 4 piece kit and 4 trad. jazz cymbals (ride, crash, hihats and splash)
