Heads Up - RS clip on instrument mics
Since I know Harvey is partial to them, and a few others here are as well, I thought it'd be worth mentioning that Radio Shack has these mics on sale for $30 a pop. If nothing else, get a few and sell them to the next band that asks you if you can help them with their live setup ;)

Digimax mic inputs at line/instrument level?
Another AD question. . sorry. I've checked out the blurb on the PreSonus web site and it isn't clear whether the Digimax rear panel inputs are just mic preamps or whether I can drive them from line level and/or instrument sources? I know there are a couple of instrument inputs on the front but I'd like to run more into the box at once.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Mike

tune your instrument before recording
How do you deal with out of tune instruments/guitars etc. It drives me bonkers when people are out of tune. If you get on musicians too much it seems to kill their ego or something so I hate to kill the vibe over it. To me, tuning is sooooo important for not only sweet sound but for depth!

Instrument scrolling
"In cakewalk, from the track view window you can enter a patch number, and then by simply hitting the plus and minus keys you can have your tone modules play the track on every instrument available. This is great for auditioning which piano, strings, or bass etc. you want to use on a song. You can do this while the song is playing."

VST and DXi Instrument Q?
Since VST and DXi instruments are audio sounds as opposed to being midi, is it feasable to export a song to wav or do you still have to record the whole song into your DAW as an audio file and then export as a wav?

VST Instrument Latency
:( Is that what steinberg call a solution? If I use Battery as stand alone sampler I can solve this by decreasing buffer size, and everything's OK. I own a PIII 500 MHz 256MB RAM. Any thoughts? Help!
