I know adding plugins to a track/bus adds latency. Is there a read out some where in PT that i can see what that latency is so i can correct it?

I just got my firebox and started playing around with it, the first track I recorded to a click track in cool edit, and it recorded fine. I then started to record a second track using my preamp into the line input as track two in the same session, and the click was waaay off; delayed in the headphones when I was recording- and the track was full of pops and clicks.

it appears that when i play back guitar that i have recorded through my Lexicon omega with Cubase le it is the slighest bit out of time.
i have been told to look for input latency under vst multitrack but there is nothing like this there?
i am playing/recording with drum sample imported from audio sample CD is there any chance this is anything to do with it?

I'm pretty much a newb to this so any advice woudl be very helpful.

I recently purchased a Tascam US-122 USB interface for my Toshiba M45 Laptop. SO far I have gotten everything running well except for one thing.

The Laptop has a 1.6 Ghz processor, 504 megs Ram, using a Micronet 160 Gig External Firewire HD to record to.

I have all of the audio set to use the US 122 including the midi.

I'm experiencing some clicks during playback using a Tascam us 122 with Nuendo 3 (setup on my signature). The project only contains midi with some vsti's (processor working at 50% according to nuendo meter)
I have followed the Tascam OS tweak document, some others too, but clicks are still there. Any ideas of how can I workaround this?

Hi all, I have the PreSonus Firebox which you are suppose to have zero latency monitoring with the software mixer it comes with. I have no clue how to get this to happen. Does this mean I can record tracks and not have any latency with the previously recorded tracks. I'm very new at this. Thanks for any advice

I'm using Nuendo V2.2 and I'm experiencing latency problems while recording. I'm using an M-audio quattro USB Interface. The latency doesn't occur while I'm tracking (as I use direct monitoring), but it occurs where Nuendo places the wave file. It appears to be slightly late. I'm not sure by how much, but enough to create a flam on every downbeat.

i did a ghost to my computer and now ... all the previous Cubase projects are with 90ms latency!

but when I'm opening a NEW PROECT the latency is 7ms just fine !

i gotta keep working on previous projects .. what should i do?

I'm using luna II with ASIO driver and the asio driver IS selected on both old and new .. but only 80ms on previous ghost projects.
