Multitrack Drum recordings on Logic

I've been recording my band with MIDI/sample drums for some time now, as I don't have the equipment to record real drums. This wasn't too awful as I beame pretty good at editing on Logic, but I'm now looking to record real drums, but I'm a total noob when it comes to recording with more than just 1 input at a time!

Logic Express 9 and Massive issues

OK,

I think this should be an easy question for someone.

I am recording with Logic Express 9 and using Massive as my synth.

I am able hear the massive synth and record the sound in a track. If I make a new track with a new Massive synth sound it will record the new sound in the new track but replace the previous sound with the new one. Hope that makes sense.

Need advice on a firewire interface for Mac/Logic setup

Sorry for the new thread but I didn't want to waste the whole night trying to find the applicable thread.

I am giving up on Pro Tools (which I like) and M-Audio (which I can no longer rely on) and I want to switch over to either Logic Express 8.0 and/or Propellerhead's new Record suite.

Metering in GarageBand-- Time to switch to Logic?

Having been disabused of the notion that setting levels means just turning it up until the red light comes on and then turning it back down a little, I am at a loss as to how to translate the little green bar in GarageBand into the actual -12 to -6dB (maximum) peaks that I hear so much of on this board and elsewhere.
