Hello everyone, this is my first post, I'm a newbie from Philippines... I recently bought a Yamaha MG124CX Mixer purposely to be a preamp for my Delta 1010lt. I intend to use 6 mics for the drums and thought that the console can hold up to that task.

Has anyone owned, used or tried out this keyboard MIDI controller?

I'm looking for an 88 keyboard or controller with a lot of knobs, and extra buttons to control just about anything and this looks like the one for me. I just want to be sure it'll really do what I need it to do.

Hey, I recently got a VERY bad virus because of a stupid friend. So I reformatted my PC. I dled the newest driver for my fast track pro becuase i cant use the disk that came with it cause my CD drive is broke but I CANNOT get the stupid thing to work ive tried EVERYTHING! Ive tried the advice on maudios site and everything it won't work AT ALL!

I've seen a lot of topics and replies talking about the PreSonus Series Firebox, Firepod, Firestudio, but no one really talks about the Focusrite Saffire, LE, and Pro or the M-Audio Firewire Solo, 410 and 1814, and the MBox 2, mini and Pro?

So I'm just asking what do you think about them?

I'm kind of a beginner to computer recording, and recently bought a Delta 1010 soundcard with 8-channel breakbox. It doesn't have preamps and the only adjustable part is a button for each channel which switches from -10db to +4db signal levels (which would you generally use for direct guitar or vocal microphone?)

just would like to know if the m-audio usb unit would work in an xp64 quadcore running tracktion 3

. .sombody told me that usb devices do not need specific drivers for the os? but this doesnt sound right to me...but I'm not sure.

i cant seem to locate xp64 drivers for the m-audio and i havent had a chance to try it with xp64 yet.

Due to a possible hotswap (i guess) the M-Audio FW410 now doesn't work anymore. Normally when windows starts up the FW-410 also boots and is ready for use when windows has fully loaded.

Now windows doesn't see the fw-410 anymore. The blue light keeps blinking which, according to m-audio support, means that the device is not recognized.

Is the m-audio NRV-10 considered pro gear (not high end but "having the specs to qualify it as pro gear)? The reason I ask is that I use it because it has inserts for my compressors and my daw doesn't but my outboard gear is somewhat high end. I'm using the NRV strictly as analog gear not for it's digital stuff.

I was basically all set to go for the KRK RP5s, which to me sound quite similar to the M-Audio BX5s, but:

The guy at GC, who seemed to be well enough informed told me that the RP5s are returned almost weekly after blowing out. Can anyone fill me in on the reliability of low priced monitors?

Hello all, Is this possible? My audio interface is a M-Audio Delta 1010LT and I would like to use the line 6 tone port UX2 with modelling as an input also. Recording into Cubase SX3. I just get conflicts all the time or Cubase dose not recognise either one of the input devices.

Please shed some light on this.
