Hey guys, I apologize if this is in the wrong section..
I have been recording a song in Sonar, now I'm trying to lay down some midi piano, but it's a little flat to the audio I recorded earlier.
I know there is a way to fine tune midi, but I'm not sure how to do this with this keyboard, any help greatly appreicated.

I ve got a problem, we connected our electronic Yamaha drums to a reason, but the hi-hat is running late so the sound is f**king bad. we thought its becouse our reason software we use in pc not in macintosh, what d' you mean, the mac will cancel our problem?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find a midi patchbay.

I don't need some crazy usb strokes software warms keyboard to a smile and then makes the sky turn blue as flowers grow around your bed while your sleeping at night thingy.

My M-Audio Keystation 49e just arrived in the mail today. I have an extensive background in audio recording technology, but this is my first step into the world of MIDI.

I record in my home with SONAR 5, but i would like some new midi instruments. only problem is i can't go through Cakewalk. Doesn't somebody know of a site i can download new instruments that are compatible with SONAR?

everything sounds fine with the midi, and the Wavesin the audio tracks after i recorded midi tracks to audio also look fine(after i normolize them). but i cann't hear any sound from the audio tracks.
i will appreciate your advices and helps. thanks in advance!

I'm looking to expand my guitar rig some gear. Mostly a preamp/effects unit such as a Rocktron Prophesy, and a good power amp. I am just worried about changing settings on it. Basically switching from clean to distortion to a lead channel type thing.

i am triggering theater sound effects and musical interludes during live performances and I would like to bring my laptop into the picture. I want to trigger the fx via midi keyboard and have a better quality audio OUT than the stock sound card

would you use a PMCIA card type interface or a USB type?
the smaller the device the better.

the fact: I recorded a drum session in MIDI, but if I choose to send the MIDI signal to a Vst drum, it does not work because it is not actually recognized as "Drum Map", so all notes are not in the right octave (as you know, a VST drum use one or two octaves to play the drum keys) and the right one is "blank".

I have had a motif 6 for a few years now and just got a powermac. I am having trouble getting the mac to recognize the motif. What should the process be? I tried to install the drivers but it won't let me because I am using mac osx. Is there an updated driver somewhere? I don't need to use midi cables, correct? The usb cables will do the same thing, right?
