MIDI Clock

I have Pro Tools 7 and the digi 002 with a Mac G4. I also have Cubase SL on a second G4 with its own MIDI (MidiSport 2x2).

I need to sync these two systems via MIDI clock (or another sync system that works). I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out what to do.

Do I need to get another software or hardware MIDI clock? Can I have Pro Tools be the clock?

Nuendo is firing all MIDI off time...not a quantization prob

I'm borrowing a rig from a buddy and there seems to be a very strange MIDI glitch that I can't get to the bottom of. Nuendo 1.52 running on XP, Delta 1010, ASIO drivers selected triggered by either my Peavey DPM C8 and or Radium 61. I've been using, well...trying to use VSTi as well as my Nord modular and JV-1010 and the results are identical.

midi-problems

I use Cubase LE and a Lexicon Lambda sound card. Most things seem to work, but I cant hear any MIDI.

The drivers to the sound card are installed.

I've set "Lexicon USB MIDI" as default MIDI in and out in Device Setup. I've also tried some different vst-instruments.
I get an out-signal, but no sound.

I just can't figure what to try next. Anybody who knows?

midi usb cable

heyya I'm just starting out, but how does a midi usb cable work?

i mean, all the voices transmitted from the keyboard to the computer (software sequencer, eg. sonar) thru the usb?

so the usb end goes into the usb port whereas the other split end goes into the keyboard out 2/R?

heres the link to the forum post which got me thinkin, heheh

Getting Delay when using a midi controller !

How can you adjust Midi Controllers latency or something I'm running Cubase SX3, with 3gb DDRam, an Emu1820 and for some reason i get like 30ms delay or something. its really freaking me out.ç

the midi controller i got its the a Axiom 61 by M Audio. I connected it via usb (got some Delay) and via Midi Cables
