on a lynda PT TUTORIAL, the guy there says that the most common way to DOWNmix is bounce to disk, BUT LATER the right way to make mastering is via the internal busing and recording a new track, he pass before recording via 2 aux tracks and use one compressor on first aux step and a limiter on the second aux step, do you share this workflow?

Ok, I know nothing can't beat the real thing. Thing is I don't have the money for a Neve console or ssl outboard processing.
So the question is, which plugin or plugin combination will bring me close to the real thing ?

I had a doubt this morning, the maximum peak advised -3dB to mastering then nothing inserted in the master bus, also applies in mastering post EQ? In this case only a high-pass active filter of 30Hz.
