What's the point in buying WaveLab or other mastering software?
I used to own wavelab for mastering. Unfortunately it's not compatible with my new computer and I'm not shelling out $500 for an upgrade. I've been using Nuendo multi-track for mastering. Any of you do the same? Use your multitrack software for mastering?
Has anyone heard of this LANDR Mastering?
I came across this LANDR mastering on Soundcloud the other day, So the curious side of my brain went "hmmmm...what this 'ere, then, eh?" and I had to take a look further.
If you join LANDR via Soundcloud they offer a "mastering " service for your mixes.
This ought to be good I thought

Need unmastered .wav's for audio engineering course.
Hello, i was wondering if any of you would be willing to let me use any unmastered tracks for my mastering module on my audio engineering course. They would be put through very high quality gear at my university and mastered to the best of my ability. I can then wetransfer the mastered files back to you in a few months as a thank you.
Putting mixed album on USB for mastering?
Hi there, this is my first post on this site because I couldn't seem to find many people talking about this. I just finished recording a record and mixing it on Logic & a Mackie Mixer, etc. Record's all done from that point and now I need to send it off to some guys for mastering, but I was curious if I could put the mixed record on a USB or hard drive for sending?

A Brief On The Use Of VCA Masters in a Pro Tools HD session
I borrowed this from the DUC. I hope it makes more sense than I do at explaining things. YMMV as does each DAW. I do NOT mean this as a directive to send anyone towards Pro Tools as a choice of their DAW. Since this method was taught to me it has opened up my mixes and made my work flow somewhat easier with drastic results.
