How to Make Clean Masters

When trying to make your master sound clean, it’s a good idea to find and isolate any sources of unwanted noise, such as noise generators, and mute them. Additionally, cutting the side image’s low-frequencies, as well as the mids by up to 20Hz can add some clarity to your master.

We have been working on this for the past two and a half years and it is finally finished. My tech wiz, Rhys Davies, built the whole unit himself and wired it. We had lot of changes along the way but it works GREAT and we got exactly what we wanted. S/N -95.5 dBM, Distortion .0005%, Frequency Response 20 t0 20 KHz +/- .5 dB.

The track is a combo/cross of electronic and orchestral (scoring) stuff, based on a rather unusual harmonic/rhythmic structure.

Hi y'all, I'm fairly new in audio engineering and mixed and mastered my first full song. I must say it was recorded very precisely, good mics, mic placement adjusted perfectly so I did not had to replace tracks or phase shift, so it was quite fun. Hi folks, totally new here. Have been playing around with song writing for the last 10 years. I don't mind writing but recording and mixing (to end up with what I have in my head) is the difficult bit aint it! Steep learning curve.
