Storing condenser mics
When you store your mics, do you keep them in their huge aluminum flight cases, or put them in smaller, zippered pouches? Right now I have all my mics in their big ass cases, but I'm finding that only one or two will fit in each drawer of storage boxes(courtesy of Target). Is there a better space-saving solution when it comes to storing condenser mics?

vocal mics, OHeads mics, AMP (guitar) mics
Some mics are good for at least two different uses. Some are good as vocal and OH mics, others as OH and AMP, or AMP and vocal,... whatever. Which could be a good deal in order to satisfy these 3 different recording situations, or at least 2 of them.

Good Stereo Mics?
Hi Everyone,
I was just looking for some suggestions on stereo mics... I'm looking for mid level to expensive (ie. RODE to DPA). Has anyone tried any good ones?
Thanks!

ADK mics, anyone use 'em ?
I was just checking out the ADK website http://www.adkmic.com/ and they have some pretty impressive reviews. I've seen the ad's in Tape Op, etc as well. I can't believe the reviews after I see how cheap they are. Is this a cheap product with lotsa hype or is this a great deal and a cool company that didn't hike the price up.

advice mics: Audix Fusion series,OM2's etc & Shure Unidy
Hi all!
i'm new here. I've recently finished my job at a recording college and have set about starting my own fun business up for recording demo's, voice over and mainly my own electronic production. I've got a half decent set of my own mics and can borrow from old work...but I'm finding all these funky 'new' mics I previously didn't know about.
One or two room mics when recording drums?
How many room mics are you guys using when recording a drumset ? where do you usually place them ?
I was thinking of buying a Soundelux as a room mic and use my AKG 414 b/uls as overheads. r do you guys believe its better to use two U195s as overheads and the AKG's as room ? Thanks for the imputs>

I'm buying drum mics.
I'm buying drum mics this month. .this is what I've decided on:
Snare: sm57 X2
Toms: Sennheiser e604 X3
Kick: D112
Should I be getting different mics?
I still need OH's. .I don't know what to use for that. I don't have much room in the budget, will samson's work ok? or some other cheap-o condensor?

Danish radio and distance mics on choir
I remember reading that the venerable Danish Radio records choirs from an unusually large distance, and the results are wonderful. I'm sort of curious about this.
Anyone know if this is the case, or have any more details about their setup?
Thanks
John
