Hello much smarter people out there ! I'm a newbie at recording so i wanted to know how i can connect my Mackie CFK16 mkII Mixer to my Tascam US-1800 audio interface? I know it has something to do with inputs and outputs but I'm not too sure. Can anyone help?

Hi all, I need a (CHEAP) mixer to go in front of my Tascam DP-01fx. It's great for what I've been doing in the past, but now I need something to add more inputs without screwing up the sound. Are the old Tascam mixers with the wood sides worth checking into?

We have a Yamaha EMX5016cf powered mixer. Great as a PA for rooms up to about 300 people, but we're done with playing gigs. Now we want to record. Can we use the Insert I/O jacks to connect to a firewire interface device? Any advice appreciated.

I want to use a single stereo bus output to connect to multi track recorder and I want the stereo bus connected to all of the 8 channels in pairs so 4 stereo pairs

If I take the single bus O/P and daisy chain (or connect in parrallel) to the recorders 8 channels would this be OK or do you have to have a channel per input.

hi. ive been recording vocals for years simply plugging in my microphone to the back of my sound cards input. crude perhaps but it has worked mostly fine. I'm somewhat aware that having a mixer/preamp is supposed to enhance your signal or clear it up somewhat (i think, right?) so recently i picked up one of these xenyx 502s. it hisses. it sucks.

I just recently got a new Behringer UBB1002 as my first mixer and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out with the EQ settings and gain. Im new to home recording so I dont really know the standards for proper levels of gain, dB, etc.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just purchased the Behringer X1832USB Mixer and the manual doesn't discuss the SOLO, SUB, and MAIN buttons associated with each channel. Could someone please clarify/describe/advise regarding the use of these buttons?
