If there was a shootout with a MOTU1296 and a
Lucid 8824, which would still be standing?

On a more serious note, Fletcher, I noticed that you are using DP to record with and also using a LUCID as a front end. Have you checked out the MOTU1296 against the LUCID on any of your sessions?

Hey- any word on the quality of the mic preamp amps on this baby? Thinking about buying a couple RODE NT1's or one NT2 (or maybe the NT 1000, or NTK) Or who knows what kind of Mic! I'm going down to Boston tomorrow to check out Mic's for myself. Can only read so many reviews before saying, Damnit!- you want something done, you gotta hear it for yourself! Anyone out there using this? I'm wondering what kind of latency you're getting? I think the PCI-324 is a great, versatile card, but the none of the drivers are achieving useable latency under Win 98se (70ms). And, I'm not changing OS.

Anyone using any external word clocks such as Aardvark or Lucid, Mytek with any MOTU interfaces for improved sound? Also has anyone used any external converters similarly?

I'm using Nuendo on WinMe. When I put a chnnel into ready record and the channel switches to input the cuemix fader and pan move around by themselves which means I cant use direct monitoring.
Anyone else had this problem & how is it fixed.

How do you get on this MOTU mac mailing forum I think if they were aware of this forum we would get a lot more traffic on this board there are a ton of DP users out there that can be a big help.I think it's topica something or another if someone would post on there about dawworld I think there would be a great interest in this board.Just a thought!

I am just about to purchase a new 466

question is - Would I be able to run both a Digi-001 and MOTU interfaces on the same G4, using the 001 with PT LE, and the MOTU stuff with DP - just switch which interfaces I would want

or would there be conflicts?
