Neutriks don't fit MOTU's - what to use?
the holes in the back of MOTU gear (828mkII) are too close together to allow Neutrik connecTRS to be used; they're too fat, you have to unscrew every other one or risk stressing the holes. Do neutrik do a thinner model that is known to work. what are y'all using?

Looking for Neutrik TRS/XLR combo jacks. Any leads?
I am building a custom patchbay for my preamps and compressor. All of which are 1/3 rack sizes (no, they are not tiny Universal Audio preamps. )
Instead of wiring a XLR and TRS for the balanced lines in, those combos from Neutrik would be the best thing. I don't even know if its OK to just wire a TRS jack and XLR up together to common lines (ganged 1, 2, 3).

Are Digiflex cable with Neutrik ends any good?
I'm not up to speed with regards to good XLR cable & ends.
I have a chance to grab 8 25' Digiflex cables with Neutrik ends for about $40US.
Just wondering if they're top quality.
Thanks
Sean

Cables (Mogami, Neutrik, Hosa)
Hello everyone,
Quick question... after reading some post I decided to order some cable (Mogami 2549) and connectors (Neutrik NP3C) to build my own... so, I did and when I tried one out by inserting a RNC into a RNP... it didn't sound very good... sounded lofi and a *tiny* bit crackly...

Patchbays -- Punchdown vs. . Neutrik Spring Loaded?
I'm looking for a good, solid, TT patchbay that's flexible (in that I'll probably want to reconfigure it every so often). My soldering skills suck. So, right now I'm considering getting either one of the Neutrik patchbays that have the "spring loaded push terminals with gas tight connections" or a punchdown-style patchbay. I don't have any experience with either.
