problems

:x I've just got a firepod with Cubase le.
Got it to where I can record but playback is distorted no matter how
low my input is recorded.

Okay right. First of all I'm Using a
Pentium M Mobile Processor 1.6 Laptop. And A Hercules 16/12fw interface.

I'm using Cubase LE Software

I've installed (and reinstalled) the software. And Everything comes up fine. The asio drivers are there for the Hercules in the Device Set up menu.

I'm having a bit of a problem with my mixer and recording. my mixer outputs from the balanced XLR output and into my computers microphone jack. when i record, theres a a constant electric buzzing sound in my track. my phantom power is on.. and suggestions to eliminate this unwanted sound?

Here is my potential future computer:

motherboard: DFI NF4 ULTRA INFINITY nForce4 Ultra Athlon 64(FX)/Sempron Skt939 DDR ATX Motherboard w/Audio, LAN, RAID/Serial ATA (or regular infinity...1.5gb/s sata instead)

Hi all, I am using Cubase Le, PreSonus Firebox, PC 3.2 Ghz 1 Gig ram.
Here is my problem. I am playing a VSTi piano in cubase(sampletank piano)
When I.
A. Hold the sustain pedal down
B. Press a key and hold it down
C. release the sustain pedal

i have pro tools with the mbox 2, and its giving me this problem that will appear on the screenshot, i really dont understand whats going on, i had tried everything install, uninstall, i even installed other version of pro tools but nothing.

I just bought Cubase SL3. I installed it, and before I even did anything, I noticed the CPU meter in the VST Performance meter was spiking. The level was low, but it would spike and overload to a rhythm. It was like 4 times per second and continued at this constant rate. If I load a song, it sounds like latency clicks.

It seems that anytime I'm mixing more than a few tracks with only modest effects--and I experience this with both Acid Pro 5.0 and Cubase SX 2.0--my computer gets really logy and produces choppy audio (sometimes to the point of crashing).

Hi guys... well i just installed pro tools 7 and i m having a problem everytime i open the pro tools it gives me Error Access violation.. anything i try to do it gives me the error whenever i create new project or try to open... does any one know the solution

iight, today i bought a CAD 22A dynamic mic and it did not come with a cable. I was wondering what type of cable i'm gonna neeed to start recording. and what the adapter for my computer is called. and will i need a sound card to work it? thanks by the way i heard it not a bad mic at all.
so basically can you tell me evrything i need to buy in order to be able to record.
