So I am learning the fundamentals of electrical properties and how to manipulate audio signal slowly, but I need some reinforcement especially on some of the finer details. I've got some mods in mind and I am just hoping to clear up some things prior to. The mod is to my trusty SD-1 pedal.

I want to simulate a bass guitar with my acoustic guitar to add into recordings. What pedals etc will accomplish this? I am looking for simplicity and would rather not spend a whole lot, cause I ain't got much $
I haven't even tried using this multi track recorder yet. I'm 61 years old and tech stuff scares heck outa me!

Did some bass over tracking last night, I did not like the sound the bassist had gotten during drum tracking. The bassist brought a Conklin 7 string bass, nice instrument and this Aquilar box

I am doing some drum tracks Sat. and because I have no isolation rooms I am tracking bass and guitar direct. The guitarist is using amongst others Rte 66 overdrive/compression pedal. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Route66

I know we've talked about reverb units before, but I don't think these were mentioned.

1) - Any good recommendations?
I want to add delay to a mic'ed ukulele.
I want the pedal to have tap-tempo available.

2) - What would my signal chain be?

Uke - Mic - Pre-Amp - Delay - Amp - Speakers

Would I need any kind of crazy wires in this setup?

I ordered a Conrad amp, it comes without a reverb unit. Actually Conrad offered to put one in it but I was concerned, because it is such a small cabinet, about the length of the springs. So I decided that I would buy a reverb pedal. I have done some research and come up with a few Boss RV-5, Holy Grail, Line 6 Verbzilla, Digitech Digiverb.

I have looked all over the internet and can't find a full-sized MIDI organ pedalboard for under $1300. I can't image why it would cost that much so I was just wondering if anyone had any information on something cheaper that might work. Thank you.

ok, after looking around on here to see if any one else is having the same problems as me, i reliese my problems seems very amature, but then who else to ask then the people who's knowledge is on the professional level.
my problem is fx related, in that i use a number of small fx boxes and i seemed to have gained a very annoying hum/buzz thro my amp.
