Metal distortion pedals ?
Hi people !
I was thinking of getting a nice distortion pedal. I don't really have the money for a good amp. I have a really old 65 watt acoustic amp that I want to run a distortion pedal into.
I like metal stuff like Slayer, Slipknot, Lamb of God and Death. I have a BC Rich Mockingbird with a DiMarzio X2N. What pedal do you recommend ?

noisy distortion pedals
Recently I've decided to purchase a couple distortion pedals to run my synth's through. Asking around and company reputation led me to purchase an EH Double Muff which isn't here yet, and sex appeal made me buy a Damage Control Demonizer, which is for sale if you're interested.

Any owners here? Thoughts, opinoins, experiences?
I ask because I was browsing dist pedal and came across the M151. It's 2 channels and the description is quite sexy.

analog kick pedal with midi kick pad
I wanted some comments on how to go about using an acoustic drum set, but replacing the kick drum with a trigger pedal.
Now the real thing here is...I need it to be a double bass setup for the heavy music as well.
midi kick pads? And which one? Or what else is good for this?

Stomp pedals vs. . Multi-effects processors?
Hi!
Here's my situation: I was looking around at delay/reverb pedals and found them to be in the price range of $100-150 each, which is fairly reasonable for a brand like Boss. However, I might be able to get a good deal through a friend for a Boss GT-6 multi-effects processor (used, for roughly $150-200 in good condition).
What should I do?
Adding EQ pedal to JCM900?
I just borrowed a Marshall JCM900 head with 4x12 cab to record some death metal guitars and I want to add my Boss EQ pedal to the mix to alter the sound. Is it best to add the EQ through the effects loop or through the normal input? Any suggestions on how to set the EQ pedal and the amp EQ settings? Thanks!

Firepod and Expression Pedals?
Loving my firepod, but i want to be able to control wah/volume/other effects for my guitar in Cubase sx. So i was thinking of buying a single unit midi expression pedal with a 1/4 in output. Can i use this to control wah effects and volume and stuff like that? Where would i plug the expression pedal into the firepod.
thanks so much,
Phishfly

FX processing pedal, Small watt guitar amps, both?
I want to add powerful guitar tools to my studio.
Considering a processing pedal Boss's GT-8 or Vox's AC30 series combo amps. Or both.
