I am in the process of recording a solo instrumental CD and have recorded all the basic tracks at two well know studios, Horizon Music in West Haven CT, and Long View studios in MA. I have Doug Wimbish on Bass, Will Calhoun on Drums, and Leo Nocentelli on Rhythm guitar, I am the main guitarist.

i have always had some problem with my pc where i can only encode to Ogg Vorbis using any program.
i record of the radio using the line in port on my sound card with a program called Audacity. I then try to encode into MP3 and i get 1sec files and can't fix it. So i just encoded to Ogg Vorbis and left it at that.

I RECENTLY BEGAN TO DO ALOT OF BUSING TO MY AUX. CHANNELS AND FOR SOME REASON THE I/O BEGAN SETTING ITSELF AFTER I LEFT THE FILE. THIS IS BRINGING ON PROBLEMS WITH LATENCY AND A STRANGE CONFIGURATION SHOWING 18 CHANNELS IN USE WHEN I DON'T HAVE THAT MANY IN OPERATION. WHAT AM I DOING TO MYSELF? I KNOW ITS ME SHOOTING MYSELF IN THE FOOT BUT I AM NOT SURE HOW.

I recently purchased a new HD (Hitachi Deskstar) for dedicated storage of my audio. Previously I used the same drive for my programs and Audio. This worked fine, but I needed more storage and heard it was generally better to use two drives.

i installed per directions per windos XP and i get kernel error Ox771c76cb and then memory error OxOO16a550 anyone know what these mean? i uninstalled everything and will return tomorrow unless someone can help me out

I HAVE BEEN RECORDING ON A BRAND NEW COMPUTER FOR THE PAST 7 MONTHS. IT IS A DELL 4800 WITH A P-4 3.O GIG SYSTEMWITH 1 GIG OF RAM. IT HAS WORKED FLAWLESSLY FOR THAT PERIOD OF TIME. Hello everyone,
I recently installed a Proteus X and I'm quite impressed by it. It's certainly very good value for money.

I can play it from my keyboard, a Korg M1 and it seems to work quite well.

However, I've hit a problem. I recorded a MIDI track into Cubasis VST. But I can't get it to play back through Proteus.

I am having some funny problems with my midiverb 4. It powers on and looks to be fine but I can't get very much signal level through it at all. Granted led meters are not perfect but if I run it through my effects loop from a Peavey SR 2400 board and crank the levels to "10" the Midi verb barely registers its getting any level.
