Recording Drums with an Mbox and/or Drum Triggering

is it possible to record drums with an mbox? i know that some sort of external i/o device would be required to have enough inputs for all the drums mics, since the mbox only has two, but is there a device that does this?

if this wouldnt work, is drum triggering an alternative? what equipment would i need to purchase to make this happen?

Recording drums - only 2 good pre's

SO! I'm thinking of getting two decent mic preamp's
either 2 Bricks, or a Sebatron vmp-2000 to go with my firepod

what parts of the drums should I record with the 2 good mic preamp's (the rest will go through the firepod's mediocre/bland pre's

Ususal set-up being:
kick
hats
snare
2xrack toms
floor tom
2 or 3 overheads

Somewhat a newb to recording...Doing drums...

So, lets say for instance, you have a living room, lots of funiture, and you want(NEED) to record the drums only through one microphone, directly to your computer. I've done this before... And hell, it sounds not bad at all for a crappy home recording, sounds much better than the other local bands around here...

recording drums..ghetto style

i have only four microphones to record the drums with. we do it in a very large open room. usually we put one in the bass drum, one in between the hi-hat and snare, one overhead, and one near the ride cymbal and the floor tom. Sadly this is all recorded onto one track. So all the mixing of the drums must de done before it is recorded. then when eq it, it eq's the whole drumset.
