Simple Recording Software?
Forums
My drummer just got an electronic drum kit for practicing and he wants to be able to do basic recordings with its midi interface and all that and was asking for recommendations on programs he could use. Is there something really basic and free out there that I could recommend to him for just recording with his drum set?

Simple audio recording software...
Forums
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for audio recording software to record vocals on the computer. I'm totally new to recording and editing so I would like to have a simple and easy to use program.
What can you recommend?
I would like for the program to have effects like reverb.
Thanks!

Looking for suggestions on recording software for mac
Forums
Hi there!
I'm used to working with Nuendo for PC. There are a couple of things I really like about it, but I'm now working on a Mac workstation and am looking for some good mac recording software. The main thing I like about Nuendo that I don't see elsewhere is the ability to do multiple takes on a single track, and crossfade between them really easily. Any mac software do this?

free recording software
Forums
Hi, I'm trying to set my mic up on my pc so I can start messing around with recording. I hooked it up to my old Tascam us-122 and installed the driver software to the computer. Now I'm wondering if there's a free program I can download with which I can record and mix using my little setup.

Recording Software Plugins (from Sonar to Third Party) Help?
Forums
I am currently using Sonar. I have only used there included plugins. I like the plugins that are that (EQ, compression, etc.) but I wish there was more. Like a de-esser, autotune, etc.
Does Logic or Cubase have more/better plugins compared to Sonar?

Still looking for musician-friendly recording software
Forums
So I'm still looking for musician-friendly recording software.
I had started out with Audacity, and it works like a dream but it can only output 2-channel stereo and it crashes a lot. And it has a long list of rotten effects that I don't know how to delete.
I had looked at n-track but that's looking pretty dead nowadays.
Recording software question
Forums
I buyed Mackie d8b now i need recording software for it. Since i dont have 2000 euros for Nuendo can i buy Digidesign mbox-1 and than use Pro Tools LE for recording?
I mean mbox have just 2 inputs so does it mean i can just record with it that 2 inputs from mbox hardware or i can connect Mackie and record more channels with Pro Tools?
