HELP!
First of all may i say thanks for looking at this thread and any information shared will be greatly received.
Hello, everyone
I record classical music for a long time and already had a setup for recording. But recently, the radio station where I was working has stopped working and some equipment left with it.
I've been using this setup:
I took up the challenge of building my own mixer desk. Here are just a few snaps.

Hi all,
Guys...
I'm searching for a piece of gear that I used a million years ago (okay, maybe not quite a million, but close...1977 or so LOL)... This was a mic preamp, compressor, EQ, all rolled into one. I can't for the life of me remember the manufacturer and I've scoured google and ebay for it, to no avail.
Background:
Hey Hybrid Recording Community, I have a few questions/problems. My band is trying to record our debut EP.
I want to make sure this isn't an error from me doing something wrong.
Computer with a R16 via USB and my Gemini Monitors plugged in L and R with XLR to 1/4 inch.
any suggestions? I would hate to think its defective when its my fault. I even switched the cables L & R and the same woofer did not have anything coming out
I just purchased the JBL SLR305, and I was wondering if it is okay to use them as (somewhat loud) monitors for live singing?
Would they get damaged from the volume? Should I purchase a live monitor to be on the safe side?
Sorry if the question seems "dull", but this is the first time I am really using monitors
Thanks in advance
