Looks like we might be issuing a single channel valve mic preamp for those who only need the one path.
It will be called, predictably enough, THE VMP-1000e and quite possibly be issued as a metered version as well.
Prices and availability will be announced in the coming weeks.

As my name implies, I'm a Hammond organist. I'm looking for a mic preamp that sounds good with a Leslie cabinet. I just acquired the best sounding Leslie I've ever had the pleasure of playing thru (a 1950's 21H) and I want to capture the beauty of this cabinet in all it's glory.

Has anyone tried the 4000e on Leslies?

Well after giving it some thought over the last few weeks, I finally decided to purchase the 4000e. I did this based on the reviews/raves given on this forum. I know most people would say thats not so smart, should hear it first and all that. Unfortunately I didn't have that opportunity. I figure even if it's half as good as most people say, for that price I'll take my chance.

After searching through pounds of literature over a period of one month in search of a pre-amp that fits my need. I finally made my decision and purchased the Sebatron vmp-2000e from Dan of Watts-Up-Audio.
