Okay, So lot's of folks are raving about the Sebatron pre...it looks great and the price can't be beat (450$ a channel)..what if you only need and can really only use a 2 channel pre...anything out there at 500$ a channel that compares to the Sebatron in a 2 channel model?

Sebatron pres
Anyone got any tunes with anything recorded through a Sebatron pre? I'm just curious as to how they sound in general. Any similarities soundwise to other existing pres?
Cheers,
Ian. .

Question about vmp-2000
I was wondering why Sebatron doesn't take a picture of the vmp-2000e for their website that doesn't have, like, a picture of some guy's lunch sitting next it? You know what I'm saying here? Go buy a black sheet and a disposable camera or something.
Oh, and when is the single channel pre coming out, if ever?

Sebatron vmp-2000 or Great River 2NV? and mics
I'm searching for a high quality first mic preamp. I've gone back and forth after reading tons of articles/reviews on various pres and getting recommendations from other similar sites. I had things narrowed down to the 2NV, but out of nowhere, Sebtron popped into my life. It seems people love the thing. Any thoughts on better value?
Sebatron Preamps - Really F-ing Happy
With the vmp-2000e's I got a few weeks ago. The pads allow an amazing range of sounds to come out of this box. I can't believe how much my sound quality has improved, even with the crappy mics I use (next thing to upgrage). Kurt was right, invest in pre's that don't suck. These really can do colored and uncolored sounds. Unbelieveible. I wish I had more of em! But alas I am poor!
