I know anyone who listens will like this song
I have a song, that was produced, written and recorded by me. I am really happy with this one, and i guess this would be my best mix. Everytime that I hear it played back I kind of get this urge to do something with it cuase it sounds so good.
Cover Songs, worth the trouble?
I would like to know, or actually I'd like to just hear others' "take" on the issue.. of recording other peoples tunes, or copyrighted material like Wold Horses or BrownSugar but any, not just stones. and what it'd be involving at the lower or home studio-level..produced mp3's or whatever to offer from a website dedicated to self promotion.

Rigging Serious Songwriter Demo Studio
I'm a songwriter and musician looking to simplify my current setup--I need to make radio/demo-quality recordings: vocal, guitar certainly; but it would be nice to have the room to add more. Want it portable. Really I want the ease and simplicity of pushing the rec/play buttons on a handheld cassette recorder at my kitchen table.

Specifically:

questions about a producer of my songs
I've completed 11 songs and planning to record a demo. I'm not the best guitar player so I called a person to play for me by the hour. I told him we need to get together and go over before going to the studio. He mentioned co-writing and wanted to record at a friends studio. I explained I only needed a player for some rhythm. He mentioned being the producer of my songs.
