I am thinking of investing in a Soundcraft M12 20 channel mixer to use with an Alesis HD24 for Mobile Recording. Has anyone used/owned one of these? I can't seem to find many reviews on it. Any info would be much appreiciated. :D

Well our church burnt down in August and we are building a new church. With that comes a new pa. so the board that was recommended to us was the soundcraft Lx7ii. it look like an ok board but i don't know the church will be doing contemporary praise and worship and we are going to be running the Aviom personal monitor system so we don't necessarily need allot of subs. i think 4 would do fine.

does anyone own a Soundcraft Ghost and use the machine control with Pro Tools...is record enable possible? thanks

Im using the ghost as the front end for my Pro Tools setup. I got most of the machine control working but i was wondering if its possible to use the record enable on the ghost to intertwine with Pro Tools? also what could the midi faders be used for?

I just got a Soundcraft compact 4 for my birthday. i don't know anything about it. how do I hook it up to my pc? Standard audio cables or what?

I need to make some cables to connect my Masterlink to my Soundcraft Ghost. And I don't know if I need 1/4" TRS or 1/4" TS.
The Masterlink is XLR and the Ghost is 1/4".
There are 2 or 3 sets of 1/4" jacks on the Ghost that I can use to send to the Masterlink, but which is best?

I'm thinking of buying a bigger mixer, but something within budget (hence posting here).
Now, I've come across a few offers of second-hand mixers, among which the following:
- Roland M16E
- Soundcraft Folio SX
- Mackie 1604 VLZ Pro

Is there one you would suggest, or are the ones where you would tell me to forget about them?
