Anyone know about this console? I have thought about updating my studio in the future, but I have been curious of how this console would integrate with my DAW.

Please forgive my english cause' it might sound totally broken.
Apparently, i'm a music producer in thailand(not a successful one though) who wants to buy a used analog console and now i found myself standing in between the ghost and Topaz 32, they're both the same price about 3,000$ and pretty same conditions I think.
which one should I buy?

Which mixer is good for project studio set up?

i've been using this Compact 10 Recording Mixer from Soundcraft for a year and i think i love all its recording-friendly features in it as well as its sound quality.
I'm thinking of getting another one that has more output channels but i really don't wanna stop using this lovely baby :).

Hi folks, want to ask advice, which one is better. I'm goint to buy one of those used, for around 500 UKP. I'm more into electronic music with deep basses and chicky vocals. Sound sources are Akai/Emu samplers, some Logic/VST synths, vocals from Logic, through PreSonus Firebox interface (which i dont have yet :).

Hi, the meter bridge of my soundcraft 2400 doesnt work in the right way, since a few days. They all flash in a strange way, like starting from the middle, and going down.

I read about the M8 below...I am in a similar situation

how does the preamps compare to the small 12-16 channel mackies?
If you are forced to use either one for recording which one would you choose?

I'm looking to get my first mixing board. I have found two of them that I am very interested in. The Mackie CR1604 vlz and the Soundcraft Spirit M8. I found pretty good deals on both and would love to hear some opinions on them before I purchase. I make electronic music (techno/house/hip hop /etc..).
