Hi. I'd like to ask you all about the following possible setup considering the fact that I want to record an album by Micing my vox ac30 (and, after that, my voice) to the computer, followed by drum composing, mixing, etc.

My final decision on studio setup after much research
Of course, i had the best interest for a nice Quad-Core computer, and the top of the line effects but...after much research i have found that with proper mic placement, good mics, good preamps/interface/AtoD converters and recording setup, i can make due what i have. With little more upgrade to my laptop.

pro studio setup help
I have been recording for six years now. I know a lot about recording, but I don't know a lot about setting up a professional studio. How do the pro's do it? Do they use interfaces? I know this sounds stupid to some, but I want to get the sound of the pro's. My recordings sound great, but they can be a lot better.

Looking for Home Studio Setup Coach in Austin, TX
I'm just starting to set up a Digital Audio Workstation and am looking for a coach who is familiar with all the tech involved, with the available equipment options, and who can guide me to the point that things are sounding good. and also act as a resource for later questions. We can figure out what a fair rate would be.

Mobile studio setup. Some opinions please
Hi all,
I am in the process of setting up a mobile recording studio/control room in the back of a van to record live rock bands. This will be primarily used as a tracking studio. Control room in back of van has been sealed and soundproofed (as best as can be) and leaves me with dimensions of 7'6" (l)x 5' (w) x 4'3"(h). Yes, I'll probably use a low chair!

Potential Home Studio Setup
Im looking to get a mac notebook with Intel Core 3 Duo, 1GB DDR2 memory, 120 GB harddrive.
Is this enough to safely run with MAudio project mix, Pro Tools M-Powered, and reason at the same time? I will be recording the 8 inputs at the same time.
Should I get more memory?
