I have Sonar 1.3.1 and a MOTU 2408 connected to a Sony DAT through SPDIF. The playback of the recorded audio is speeded up about twice as fast as the original tempo. Has anyone encountered this?

I was trying to figure that one out: how to set up a Lexicon MPX1, Digi 001 and a PreSonus Digimax all together, all digital?

Looking forward to getting the LAWP version 5 program. Love the 4.x program!

Currently use LAWP 4.61 because it offers the best syncronization with the ADAT. Although I only use the ADAT when working with a guitarist friend exchaning ADAT tapes for recording projects, I still want to like to be able to use the ADAT with LAWP version 5.

Still interested in purchasing the Sonar program. Before I purchase the program I would like have the following questions answered:

1) How difficult is it to sync Sonar with an ADAT?

2) How solid is the sync?

I'm in the market for a Rosendahl nanosync and while doing some research here in past threads I came across a wide range of prices that people paid.

I'd appreciate any recomendations on where to get the best price for one. I'm in the market for it now.

OK, I’ve got a PPS-2 sync box by Cooper. It will read true smpte and convert it to MTC.
I will be borrowing a Sony UVW-1800 BeTascam sp deck and Black burst box.
And of course the 001

Questions:
1. With this (stuff) can I set up LE to sync to the 1800 without drift?

I use Sonar .Is there a way to make the midi clock external and use RPPR?

Which clock source is more stable? Not worried about features, just a superior clock.
