I'm quite the newbie so please refrain from aimless insults. I'm aware of how clueless I am and humbly ask for help.
I've got Audition 3.0 and recently got an Alesis MultiMix 8 firewire mixer. Hoping to get separate tracks recording the separate inputs on the mixer. I'm having trouble doing two things:

I recently bought the Wavestune bundle, installed it, got it authorized through Wavesand Ilok alike, and after I thought I finally finished, it's not showing up under the plugins drop down in pro tools. There should be a separate menu that says RTAS Plugins, if I remember correctly.

I am using a Ibanez bass.
I have a Zoom B2.1u Pedal.

I have recorded in the past using output (headphones) which I direct to Microphone in on the computers soundcard. After recording, I use VSTs (Auto-Tune, AmpegSVX, GuitarRig, etc) to fine tune the sound.

Hi... I'm using Cubase LE, and I have about 8 tracks set up, and everything's in order the way I want it, regarding volumes and panning. However, I've tried to export to mixdown a few times, and I'm realizing that each time I do this, the panning isn't incorporated, and everything seems centered. What am I missing here?

I haven't used my Mesa simulclass 2: Ninety power amp in probably two years. When I went to turn it on today, the amp turned on, but the tubes never lit up and I couldn't get a signal. .I had the amp stored in a SKB case where it was dry and cool...

Does anyone know what could be possibly wrong with it? Did the non-use of the tubes have anything to do with the problem?

Hi I'm using a mac G4 an Alesis multimix 16 and logic 7.

I have succesfully set up the mixer and all sound is routed through it, i also have sound cokming into the computer via the desk.

I am just starting out trying to record a spoken podcast. I have a problem that "s" sounds are creating a popping sound - please listen to this example

The recording was made on a pc using a Trust HS-4080 USB headset.

I'm tracking a guy whistling. I know . . anyway every mic position I try does not seem to eliminate or drastically reduce the "wind sound" of the whistler. I've recorded all sorts of odd ball things, but this has presented a challenge! Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have three hours to figure this out - the session starts at 9PM EDT. Thanks!

I am trying to start a simple set up with my computer and mic. I first bought a cheap $5 adapter to directly attach a fairly old mic to my computer and was able to record a song using Calkwalk Music Creater Pro 9. I found however that I have to blast my keyboard and vocals (until my voice is hoarse) to get a final product that is somewhat the right volume to listen to.

I'm having no luck with my AP8 cards and O2R96. The Apogee manual isn't very indepth. I really want to rout my stereo bus and control room though the AP8-DA converters.
Can anyone give me some good advice?

I Also can’t get my AP8-AD card to work.
