At the moment my 2.0.2.31 seems to run fairly well. It goes days without a crash and Im happy with performance.

I do not want to upgrade to the new build and find I can run less plugins, or that some new problem comes up.

if I pick one of these up,is it best to switch out the tubes with others?what other tubes?

this is probably a silly question but has anyone with a digi 001 rig upgraded from LE 5.1 to LE 6.X recently? Does the track count increase from 24 to 32 with the upgrade or just the interface etc? I have a mate who is selling his cheap and I was thinking of getting it as a backup or mobile rig.

I've got an itch to buy gear and I figure I should upgrade my equipment. I'd like opinions on what hardware I should upgrade in my home studio? My current setup consists of the following. Funding would probably be capped at $2,000

We have a home studio of which we record produce our rap music. The Microphone that we use now is a Marshal MXL57 or som'n like that. We got it as a hand me down for free, but I'm trying to convince our group we really need to up grade.

I've finally narrowed my selections. I'm looking at either the UA 6176 or the Millennia Origin STT1 to add to my Focusrite ISA428. I do Gospel, Hip-Hop, Rap and R&B. Also the Soundelux Ifet7 was recommended to me in addition to my current SP C1, but for the money I was thinking about (2) mics the Sounddelux U195 and the AT4060 to have more options available.

I am having clipping troubles with the analog ins. Not that there is bad sound per say, it's just that I know I am not getting the correct headroom from which to work!

I currently have a G4 dual 450, and saw a single 1.4G upgrade board from Sonnet at Macwarehouse for 600.00.

Does anyone have any experience with or comments on this product?

I am currently running Cubase VST 5.1 on my DAW. It does everything I need and runs all the tracks with effects and plugs I can use but is beginning to have some compatibility issues in terms of being able to interface with newer products like control surfaces being released.
