Vocal Compressor with Neumann U87+Vintech X73i

Hi everyone, I purchased a Neumann U87 microphone (vintage "1980) and Vintech Audio X73i, now I want to counsel,
I want to buy a compressor but do not know what better jump suit in this chain ...
Thinking about
WARM AUDIO WA76, but maybe you have other ideas, not expensive but perfect for this configuration
Thanks

Compressor (vocals)

I'm recording with Sonar and I'm using Waves L2 compressor for my vocals. I really like the sound I'm getting, except. I would like to be able to record at a little hotter level without having to worry about clipping. Since I don't have an outboard compressor I have to really dial in my input level so I can record at a decent level, and not clip.

which compressor for vocals and acoustic guitar?

I'm recording for myself, vocals and acoustic guitar. It's slow mellow music, with a theory of a deadman type voice.

Wondering what compressor to start with...

I'm planning to purchase:

api512c preamps
Blue blueberry mic for vocals OR Neumann 49 or 67 .
Blue Woodpecker for my acoustic guitar.

now i have to choose a compressor...

Is it a MUST to use a compressor for vocal recording?

My recent signal path for vocal recording is:

RODE NT-1A --> Grace Design m101 --> MOTU 828mkII --> PC Sonar

So you can see,
without any compressor.
Actually, some clipping occurs during tracking, but not always.
I will decrease the gain in m101 to prevent clipping
(it will squeeze the dynamic range, right?)
