male vocal mic recommendation
Hi
I'm trying to find a vocal mic for my own voice that has a bit of bite without sounding too cheap. My voice is smoothish (hear it at http://www.mooremusic.comau if you want)
Im currently using either
1 a RODE K2 which I find gives a 'too smooth' 'closed in' type of sound with no openness

Live Vocal Mic
I am a singer who would like to record myself performing in master-classes in a fairly small rooms and recital halls. I am usually singing either by myself or accompanied by piano. I will either plug the mic either into a recording adapter I got for my iPod or directly into my computer (macbook).

Darker toned vocal mic to compliment NT1a and SP B1 $200?
Hi. I'm looking for a new vocal mic to record a mezzo soprano gospel singer (Aretha Franklin style) because I found my RODE NT1a and Studio Projects to be a little harsh and brittle on the top end.
I've narrowed my choice of mics down to these :-
MXL V67g
KEL HM-1
T.Bone RM700, Cascade Fathead 2, Nady RSM4 (same mic)
Shure SM57 or Sennheiser E840

I currently own a Sterling ST55 but I constantly need to boost up frequencies in post-production to make my vocal recordings sound more full. I want to get rid of it for a new one but I have a few choices and some criteria.
